Test questions on conducting cryptocurrency transactions (operations) by legal entities in the Republic of Belarus

This test allows you, quickly and without complex wording, to check how well your company’s current operating model for cryptocurrency aligns with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.

Why take this test

Cryptocurrency transactions for Belarusian companies are an area subject to heightened scrutiny by regulators, banks, and tax authorities.

In practice, many legal entities:

  • use foreign crypto exchanges without fully understanding whether such transactions are permissible;
  • are unsure how to properly recognise cryptoassets in accounting records;
  • do not understand when the obligation to pay corporate income tax arises;
  • do not know whether it is permitted to store cryptocurrency in “cold” wallets and how this should be documented.
Important: The test is not legal advice and constitutes general reference information.

What you will receive as a result of the test

In addition to a personalised assessment of your current position, your Company will:

  • understand whether your cryptocurrency transactions are permissible from the perspective of Belarusian regulation;
  • determine which platforms your company can use without regulatory risks;
  • learn whether you have tax obligations and at what point they arise;
  • assess whether crypto transactions are correctly reflected in the financial statements;
  • understand whether the storage of cryptoassets is organised properly (exchange wallet / hardware wallet);
  • be able to identify potential risks before an inspection by a bank or the tax authorities.

The test result is a diagnostic of the current state, rather than a formal check for “correct answers”.

Based on the results, you will be able to contact REVERA law group’s lawyers for detailed recommendations and support.
