Pavel specialises in advising companies on intellectual property matters, including the formalisation and transfer of rights to intellectual property assets, legal formalisation of rights to trade marks / brands, and industrial designs.

Pavel knows the intellectual property sector “from the inside”, as he began his career at the Belarusian patent office — the National Centre of Intellectual Property — where he worked for several years in various positions.

  • He has experience working with customs authorities on including trade marks in the national customs register.
  • He represents clients before the Appeal Board of the National Centre of Intellectual Property on trade mark-related matters.
  • He has experience supporting the registration of well-known trade marks, licence agreements, assignment agreements and franchising agreements, as well as the patenting of industrial designs both in Belarus and abroad.
  • He has successfully assisted clients with the recognition of trade marks as well-known in the Republic of Belarus, as well as with the registration of geographical indications / appellations of origin.
